WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT PRESENTATION

Wrapping Room originated with sisters Judith Paterson and Jean Wolhuter in 2010. Judith is an architect and her love of texture, colour and shape combined with a deep appreciation of the delight beautifully designed packaging could bring to any gifting occasion led her to design her own boxes and gift ranges.

The focus on design combined with Jean’s proven business and project management skills has resulted in Wrapping Room delivering ‘wrapsody’ packaging for large corporate clients such as Bidvest, Old Mutual and Discovery.

Wrapping Room also offers designed boutique packaging ranges for bakeries and cosmetic firms and crafted individual packaging for extraordinary gifting moments.

Outreach community based projects

Outreach is an important element of our gift wrapping contract service. We have identified the need for income generation in residential care facilities which run protective workshops. These protective workshops provide a safe environment for people with disabilities to earn an income to supplement the disability grant they receive from government.

Our wrapping service is such an income as the repetitive nature, precision and quality control required can be effectively managed in this environment. We have during the past outsourced large projects to residential care facilities in the Johannesburg region.

Sustainability and packaging

Wrapping Room works only with boards and packaging that has been repsonsibly produced and that is Forest Stewardship Council endorsed. These products are made from wood that comes from FSC certified forests or from post-consumer waste. Should you specfically require a gifting range that is 100% recycled and green friendly we know which products are fully sustainable, locally produced and can design a solution that rewards the receiver and is kind to the planet.

We can deliver large gifting orders of up to a 1000 units and scale to orders for a single extraordinary package. Our attention to detail and passion about presentation remains evident in the packaging we produce.

Our commitment to a rewarding experience isn’t only about the end product, it includes the process. We will work with you to arrange that items requiring packaging are collected and handled carefully and once wrapped, delivered safely to their destination.
